Corn Husks

I’ve recently been told worms like to lay eggs in corn husks and that they make great bedding.

I put corn husks in the bin last summer and they definitely broke down quickly. Didn’t notice eggs but I didn’t look that closely.

Now that summer is almost here (how great is the weather in Toronto this year!) I’m gonna try again when fresh corn hits the farmers markets and see how it goes.

Thanks for the tip David!
